BAM dalam…night two of london in za bag.
i’ll let you who were there judge, but both nights were fucking fantastic – although last night felt more relaxed because night #2 in the same venue usually works that way. no caitlin moran, though 
the other guests: perhaps contraption, andrew o’neill, and le gateau chocolat KILLED it both nights. i die die with happiness that i have such good performer friends in london. london is a warm bath of weird performers.

the reason there was no encore was because there was a STRICT 10:30 curfew and we’d already hit 10:35 and the venue was like no no no.
then i literally hopped in a cab after the show and went straight to the BBC where they’d invited me, 3 hours prior, to hop on newsnight and do an interview with la roux and a journalist from the guardian about women/misogyny in UK festivals. it was typically fluffy and the guy was kind of (in UK speak) a knob, but whatevs…here’s the clip

tonight is the signing at waterstones in trafalgar sq – i know i’m going to see some of you there…and wonderful crouch end local robin stevenson (are you on here robin? i think you are) is going to decorate the signing table so that it isn’t corporate looking backdrop of black and white and plastiiiiiiic.

then tomorrow i’m going to take they day off with mr palmer who’s on his way back to the UK from san fran, and then we head to ireland together.
