comrades, i’m about to head down to sunny australia (and new zealand) in support of “amanda palmer goes down under” and i decided i just ain’t got enough merch ideas ready to shower you fine people with. so, even though deadlines are coming (and coming QUICK), it’s time to open the phone lines…i have some people helping me in-house with designs, but YOUR COLLECTIVE MIND is way larger and smarter. and most of you are artists. right? RIGHT.

plus, you’re going to be the ones buying this stuff.

so, quicklike…

what i need:
* ACTUAL DESIGNS

- any of you incredibly awesome art-types that have (or can have) any designs/suggestions (drawings, paintings, graphics, logos, cartoons, and so on)……GO.

and
* IDEAS
– what do you wanna WEAR/HANG/LICK/GIFT/READ/etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

* anything MAP OF TASMANIA related (the puns are endless)

* any clever vegemite merch-puns you can think of.

if you have just ideas…of something YOU might like to see at the merch table (mugs? coasters? vibrators?), hit me in the comments below, or tweet at me with the hashtag #AFPozmerch

even if it’s a stupid idea. the mugs and the coasters might be able to happen. the vibrators…probably not. but hit me anyway. we can dream. we’ve been planning on making shirts, posters, UNDERWEAR, pillowcases, and THINGS to sell…but what THINGS do you wanna see? if we like it, we’ll use it.

orif you have TONS OF FREE TIME and wanna do some DESIGN MOCKUPS…

i might – MIGHT – use your actual designs (we’ve done it before, and i see how much awesome fanart you send it)…do you draw? paint? do fancy-pants graphic design? go for it.

a t-shirt design, mostly. but it might be used on anything, and if you can think of something clever that i can put on shit like beach towels, pillowcases, drink coasters, a PAIR OF (um *tasmania, cough*) UNDERWEAR, or whatever, HIT ME. this is IT. e-mail OZmerch@amandapalmer.net your mockups with contact info and if we like it, we’ll be in touch ASAFP. if we love/use your design, we’ll email you back, hook you up with GIANT cyberhug, a merchandise package with a ton of shit, give you credit, and hail your awesomeness on this here blog and on twitter galore, and also give you tickets to ANY show in australia (and i’ll take you backstage, give you wine, and probably lick you. licking not guaranteed).

DEADLINE: MONDAY DECEMBER 27 12noon EST!! (sooner is of course much better)

we’re putting together a bunch of hi-hi-res files online for you bored-at-christams graphic designers who have been wondering what the fuck to do with your life….we’ll tweet the link from @AFPwire (and edit the link in here) as soon as it’s up. they’ll include the album cover, single cover, the new globe logo (as partially seen HERE), and more, more, more.

you can use these images, make up YOUR OWN….anything.

we’d love for you to send your hi-res files (links to the work or attach to the e-mail, no larger than 10mb please) to OZmerch@amandapalmer.net – again, the sooner the better, but deadline is monday at noon.
